BMI calculator
Body-mass index (BMI) is more useful than weight alone to assess a patient's health status. BMI is calculated by dividing your weight (in kilograms) by the square of your height (in meters). In general, a person with a BMI of 25 to 29.9 is considered "overweight," and someone with a BMI of 30 or above is considered "obese."
Increased body fat mass is a symptom of growth hormone (hGH or GH) deficiency. Body fat mass improves with GH replacement therapy. The BMI can be used to follow changes over time. This calculator is provided for your information only, and is not meant to replace ongoing consultation with your healthcare provider.
